Registration for summer classes can only occur during your appointed registration time. During this time, you can register through the online Web Registration System (WRS) in AppalNET .

Using the Web Registration System (WRS)
To register using the WRS in AppalNET, follow the instructions on the Web Registration System (WRS) worksheet. If you have questions, refer to the registration tips or contact the Registrar's Office at 828.262.2050.
Who is Eligible
Students enrolled during the spring semester and classified as degree-seeking will be eligible to register. This includes graduate students, undergraduate students, and special students officially recognized as seeking teacher certification.
Students not enrolled during the spring semester must be formally readmitted to the University before registering. To be readmitted, undergraduates must contact the Office of Summer Sessions; graduate students and special students seeking teacher certification must contact the Registrar's Office.
When to Register
Eligible students can register for classes only during their assigned registration access time(s). Continuing students will receive a Personal Announcement in their AppalNET account notifying them to view their Registration Status page. New and returning students will receive information in the mail about accessing their AppalNET account.
The registration system is programmed to grant access to registration at the time and date specified. Once access is given, it will continue through early registration and schedule adjustment as specified in the Registration Access Schedule.
