Welcome to Summer School
Appalachian's Summer School programs promote the intellectual, cultural and personal development of students through a broad selection of curricular and extracurricular summer programs. As part of the University's mission of excellence in teaching and instruction, Summer School instruction is provided by regular Appalachian faculty members and noted visiting faculty.
Our summer programs include workshops, seminars, and traditional courses of varying lengths to allow students to fit their summer studies into their busy summer schedule. Special courses and other programs are offered to teachers and other professionals for both enrichment and the pursuit of advanced degrees.
Now Located in University Hall
The Office of Summer Sessions is located on the second floor of University Hall which is located on University Hall Drive off HIghway 321 (near the Staples office supply store). If riding AppalCart, take the Pink Route as it includes a stop at our front door. For additional information, please call 828-262-3154.
