Finances
Summer school tuition and fees are charged on a per semester hour basis. These charges are based on course level for undergraduate and graduate courses.
Courses numbered (0000-4999) are charged at the undergraduate rate; courses numbered (5000 and above) are charged at the graduate rate.
Tuition Waiver for NC Senior Citizens
Residents of North Carolina aged 65 and older are eligible for free tuition is space if available. An application for this waiver is available through the Office of Admissions or by calling 828.262.2120 .
Residency Status for Tuition Purposes
A student may qualify as a resident for tuition purposes in North Carolina's public institutions of higher (i.e., post-secondary) education, thereby being eligible for in-state tuition rates rather than out-of-state tuition rates.
Study Abroad Tuition
